CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made 14 days or more before your scheduled arrival date: We will refund 100% of your deposit.
Cancellations made 13 or fewer days before your scheduled arrival date: Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. If you need to cancel or change your reservation within the 14 days prior to arrival, we unfortunately cannot refund any portion of your deposit or prepayment.
Early departures and no-shows: You are responsible for the cost of the entire reservation.
Please note that cancellations must be made by phone or email and are valid only upon receipt of a cancellation confirmation. We realize that cancellations are often beyond your personal control. For this reason, we recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind.
STANDARD POLICIES
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE TIME:
Check in begins at 3:00 p.m. Check out is at 11:00 a.m. Please note that your unique four-digit access code will not begin working until 3:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival, and will stop working at 11:00 a.m. on the day of your departure. If you would like to request an early check in or late check out, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
RESERVATIONS, ROOM RATES, AND DEPOSIT:
Room rates are posted on our website and are based on a maximum of two adults/children over 12 years old per room. Sales tax and occupancy tax are additional. Reservations are held with a credit card deposit of 50% of the total charge for your visit. The remaining balance is charged seven days before your scheduled arrival.
CHILDREN:
The Inn is designed as a romantic getaway in the middle of Virginia Wine Country for adults 21 years and older; therefore, we unfortunately cannot accommodate guests under 21 years of age for individual room rentals. For rentals of the Entire Inn, we welcome guests of all ages. Children under 10 years of age are welcome for an additional flat rate cleaning fee of $150.
PETS:
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at the Inn. In the case of service animals, we follow current ADA requirements. Please notify us in advance if you travel with a service animal.
SPECIAL DATES:
There are certain dates throughout the year that are reserved for Entire Inn rentals only and include a "stock the fridge" service in lieu of regular breakfast services, and no dinner services. Staff is not available on these dates, which include Thanksgiving Day and the Friday immediately following; December 23-27; and December 31 - January 1. These dates may also require a minimum length of stay. If you have questions about renting the Entire Inn for your group during any of these dates, please reach out to us directly to discuss these details.
BREAKFAST:
Breakfast is included in all room rates, except for rentals of the Entire Inn on certain holidays, as listed above. Breakfast is served between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. There is coffee and tea available in the kitchen outside of these times, which our Innkeeping staff is happy to serve you when they are around. If our staff is not around, coffee and tea is self serve. When you are ready for breakfast, please check in with our staff in the main kitchen and we will seat you. Please note that breakfast service stops at 10:00 a.m. If anyone in your party has special dietary restrictions or requests, please let us know in advance and we are happy to accommodate.
KITCHEN USE:
Please note that cooking in our kitchen is limited to Entire Inn rentals only. All guests are welcome to use the main kitchen refrigerator to store personal items, as well as reheating items in our microwave. If you prefer not to clean up after using our kitchen facilities, we are happy to take care of the cleaning for you for an additional cleaning fee of $100. Please note that this charge may be automatically added to your final bill at the discretion of our staff.
SMOKING:
Smoking (including vaping) is not permitted inside the Inn, including our screened-in porch. We ask that you please smoke outside.
HOUSEKEEPING:
Please note that we do not offer daily housekeeping services. We will not enter your room during your stay, except in the case of necessary maintenance. Fresh linens are available upon request.
SWIMMING POOL:
Our heated swimming pool is open from approximately May through September. Please note that swimming is at your own risk, and there is no lifeguard on duty. We urge you to use an abundance of caution.
WORKING FARM:
Please note that we are in the middle of a working farm. Some nights, this may include spraying the vines. We will inform guests of these instances. Remaining outdoors during spraying is at your own risk.
PRIVATE EVENTS:
We are able to accommodate private events for up to 18 people. The Inn must be rented in full the day of and the day after the event. A $500 event fee will be applied to all events. Please note that we do not host or allow weddings of any size at The Inn.
LOST OR LEFT-BEHIND ITEMS:
Should you think you left something behind, we will be happy to look for it. However, we cannot be responsible for items lost or left at the property. Please check for all personal items before departure.

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT:
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site.
